Each one uploads your files to its cloud and bills by hours or credits. You want one tool that records the conversation, cleans it up, cuts it, makes the clips and exports for your feed and YouTube.

How PandaStudio fits

PandaStudio records a host and up to 3 remote guests from a browser link, with every person recorded locally and the guest files sent peer-to-peer. The episode opens in a desktop editor with a transcript per speaker: remove filler words and pauses, apply Enhance voice per speaker, pick layouts or Follow the speaker, make captioned clips, and export MP3, WAV, M4A or video. Already recording elsewhere? Import the host and guest files and PandaStudio syncs them by audio.

A typical workflow

1. Record or import
Choose Record podcast and send guests the link, or choose Import video or audio and add the host and guest files from Zoom, Riverside or a recorder. Imported tracks are synced by their audio.

2. Transcribe on your computer
Each speaker is transcribed separately on your machine and merged with speaker labels. No upload, no per-minute charge.

3. Clean up the conversation
Remove filler words and pauses in one click (on multi-person recordings only moments when nobody speaks are trimmed), delete retakes in the transcript, and run Enhance voice on each speaker.

4. Frame the video
Pick one person, a pair, a grid or a screen-share view per section, or press Follow the speaker to cut to whoever is talking.

5. Make clips
The Clips tab finds standalone moments and makes captioned vertical clips framed on the speaker, each with a hook score.

6. Export for your feed and YouTube
Export MP3, WAV or M4A at podcast loudness with tags and cover art, an audiogram, or the full video episode. Upload the MP3 to your podcast host as usual.

Frequently asked questions

Can PandaStudio replace Riverside and Descript for my podcast?

For interview shows with up to 3 guests that you edit yourself, yes: it records every guest locally, edits by transcript and exports for your feed and YouTube, and it can stream the show live while it records. Riverside is still the better fit for bigger panels, 4K from every guest or mobile recording, and Descript for teams reviewing in the cloud.

Does it work for audio-only podcasts?

Yes. Open MP3, WAV or M4A files (several become separate speakers), edit by transcript, and export MP3, WAV or M4A at Podcast (-16 LUFS) or Spoken word (-19 LUFS) loudness with tags and cover art.

Can I import a multi-track recording from another tool?

Yes. Add the host and guest files together with Import video or audio. PandaStudio lines them up by their audio and transcribes each speaker, then you edit them as one podcast.

Can I publish to my podcast host?

PandaStudio does not host podcasts or publish RSS. Export the MP3 and upload it to your host (Transistor, Buzzsprout, Spotify for Creators and so on). Video episodes can be published to YouTube from the app.
