Activate your PandaStudio license key

To activate PandaStudio, click the gear icon on the Home screen, choose License near the bottom of the Settings list, paste your PSTD- key and click Activate; on a Mac you can also use PandaStudio, then Enter License Key in the menu bar.

Your license key arrives by email after you buy and looks like PSTD-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Activating it removes the trial watermark and the 10-export limit on that computer. License lives in the main Settings window, which opens from the gear icon on the Home screen, not in the editor's side panel. It sits near the bottom of the Settings list, so on a laptop screen you may need to scroll the list to see it. You need to be online to activate.

In the app

  1. 1Go to the Home screen (click Home at the top left if you are in the editor) and click the gear icon in the top right corner.
  2. 2In the Settings list on the left, click License. It is second from the bottom, under Voice; scroll the list down if you can't see it.
  3. 3Paste your key (it starts with PSTD-) and click Activate.
  4. 4Shortcut: on a Mac, click PandaStudio in the menu bar, then Enter License Key. On Windows, open Help, then Enter License Key. Paste the key in the small window that opens and click Activate License.

2. In Settings, click License near the bottom of the list. Scroll the list if it is cut off.

Examples

Can't find your key?

Search your inbox and spam folder for "PandaStudio" or "license". Or sign in at writepanda.ai/account with the email you bought with; it lists every license on that email. Bought through AppSumo, DealFuel or another lifetime deal? Use the email from that purchase.

"License not found" or "invalid key"

Copy the key straight from the email with no spaces before or after it. Keys start with PSTD-. If it still fails, email support@writepanda.ai from your purchase email.
