Point at the preview and tell the AI what to change in PandaStudio

In PandaStudio you press C or D, click or draw on the video preview, type what should change, and the AI agent gets your note with a snapshot of that exact frame and the time it was taken.

Describing a spot in words is slow ("the title in the top right, about twelve seconds in"). Instead, pin a comment or draw around the thing on the preview. PandaStudio pauses, captures the frame with your drawing in red, and records the time, the position and the graphic or element under your mark. A card opens right on the mark for your note. Send it on its own, or mark several spots and send them together as one message. Marks you have not sent wait in Pending edits beside the chat and are saved with the project, and each one disappears from the preview once the agent has applied it.

In the app

  1. 1In the editor, press C to pin a comment or D to draw (or click Comment or Draw in the top-left corner of the preview). The video pauses.
  2. 2Click the spot, or draw around it. A card opens on the mark with the captured frame and a note box.
  3. 3Type what should change, for example: make this title bigger and move it down.
  4. 4Press Enter or click Send to agent. The AI chat opens and the edit is sent with its frame.
  5. 5To mark more spots first, click Add another, mark the next one and write its note. The button then reads Send 3 edits to agent (or however many are waiting) and sends them all in one message.
  6. 6Press Esc to close the card and Esc again to leave the tools. A mark with no note is dropped.
  7. 7Unsent marks wait in Pending edits above the chat box in the AI tab, numbered like their pins. You can change a note, set a range in seconds, delete one, or click Send to agent from there.

Ask the AI

Open the AI chat in the editor and say any of these. The agent does the edits for you.

“Apply the edits I marked on the preview.”
“What review notes are still open on this project?”

CLI & MCP

Every capability is a verb, reachable from the terminal or from an MCP agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Cline, Continue, Claude Desktop).

review.list
pandastudio review.list --id=$ID

Open marks: time (edited ms), optional range, position as fractions of the frame, the ids of what is under the mark, the note, and imagePath, a PNG of the frame with the drawing burned in. Defaults to the open project.

review.resolve
pandastudio review.resolve --id=$ID --annotationIds='["$ITEM"]'

Marks items done once applied; their pins leave the preview and Pending edits.

review.add
pandastudio review.add --id=$ID --annotation='{"timeMs":12400,"position":{"x":0.8,"y":0.15},"kind":"comment","note":"Make this title bigger"}'

review.update and review.delete change or remove an item.
