Style text graphics: font, size, colour, emoji and exact timing
Every live text graphic in PandaStudio has its own font, size from XS to XL, text colour and opacity, a separately styled second line, colour emoji and symbols, and a start and length you can type to a tenth of a second.
Select any live graphic (lower third, count up, ticker, credits, crawl and the rest) and the Selected panel shows its text, a Look section and its timing. The second line of a graphic, such as a counter's label or a lower third's subtitle, gets its own size, opacity and colour so it can sit quieter than the headline. Text in any script works, symbols like ≤ ≥ → ✓ ★ render, and emoji draw in colour in both preview and export. Arrows, boxes and text overlays also take exact Starts at and Length values, so an arrow can show for exactly 0.5 seconds.
In the app
- 1Click the graphic on the timeline (or add one from the Graphics or Lower 3rds tab).
- 2In the Selected panel, type the Starts at and Length in seconds, for example 0.5.
- 3Under Look, pick a Font, a Size from XS to XL, a Text colour and the Text opacity.
- 4Use the second-line controls (for example Label size and Label opacity on a count up) to style the smaller line on its own.
- 5Type emoji and symbols straight into any text field; they show in colour right away.
