Add a scrolling news ticker to a video in PandaStudio
PandaStudio adds a scrolling news ticker to any video: a band along the bottom with a label box like LIVE or Breaking, your stories scrolling through it, and a speed and length you set.
The ticker is a live text graphic drawn by the render engine, so you edit it in place and it looks the same in preview and export. Put one story per line (up to 2,000 characters in total); they scroll in a loop for as long as the ticker is on screen. Emoji and symbols like ≤ ✓ → render in colour.
In the app
- 1Move the playhead to where the ticker should start.
- 2Open the Lower 3rds tab and click Ticker under Live styles.
- 3In the Selected panel, type the Label box text (for example LIVE) and your Stories, one per line.
- 4Set Ticker speed and type the exact Starts at and Length in seconds.
- 5Optional: pick a font, size (XS to XL), text colour and opacity under Look.
