Schedule a podcast episode and invite guests
In PandaStudio you can plan a podcast episode before the show: give it a title, a date and time and guests, and it gets its own guest link, a calendar invite and a run of show you can prepare, then start it from the Upcoming list when it's time.
Since PandaStudio 2.1.35, Home has a Podcasts tab with Start now, for recording straight away, and Schedule an episode. Scheduling takes three short steps, and you can skip the last two: the basics (title, date, time and time zone, or no date yet), the guests (names, and optionally email, role and a short bio used for their name lower thirds), and the plan (topic and notes, from which the AI producer drafts a run of show you can edit). Each episode has its own guest link from the moment it's planned, so you can send it days ahead together with a calendar invite (.ics) or the invite text. Upcoming lists your episodes by day with a month strip at the top, and from each one you can copy the guest link, prepare the show backstage, start it, reschedule it or delete it. PandaStudio shows a reminder 15 minutes before a scheduled episode while the app is open. Everything you planned is waiting in the studio, where the title, time, guests, run of show and lower thirds stay editable, and the episode title can be renamed by clicking it at the top of the studio.
In the app
- 1On Home, open Podcasts and click Schedule an episode.
- 2Basics: enter the title and the date and time, or choose No date yet.
- 3Guests (optional): add each guest's name, and their email, role and a short bio if you want them in lower thirds. Copy the guest link, download the calendar invite or copy the invite text to send.
- 4Plan (optional): add the topic and notes and let the producer draft the run of show, then edit it.
- 5Click Finish. The episode appears under Upcoming on Home.
- 6When it's time, click Start show on the episode, or Prepare to set things up backstage first.
