Point the AI at a recipe, graphic or file with @ in PandaStudio

Type @ in PandaStudio's AI chat to pick a recipe, graphic, brand asset, project file, other project or the current moment, so the agent knows exactly which one you mean.

Instead of describing what you mean, name it. The @ picker lists six kinds of things: Recipes, Graphics (templates and catalog items), Brand assets, Project files (the clips and image or video overlays in this project), Other projects, and Moment, which is the frame at the playhead or the span of the timeline item you have selected. Each pick becomes a chip in your message. When you send, the agent is told what each reference is and how to read it, and anything with a thumbnail, like a graphic or the current frame, goes along as a small image.

In the app

  1. 1Open the AI tab and type @ in the message box. The picker opens.
  2. 2Keep typing to filter; the search is forgiving, so a few letters of the name are enough.
  3. 3Use the arrow keys and press Enter or Tab to pick, or click a row. Esc closes the picker.
  4. 4The pick appears as @Name in your message and as a chip. Delete the @Name text to remove it.
  5. 5Under Moment, pick Frame at (the current playhead), or the selected range when a timeline item with a length is selected.
  6. 6Finish the message and send it.

Ask the AI

Open the AI chat in the editor and say any of these. The agent does the edits for you.

“Edit this intro with @Ali style.”
“Put @logo in the top-right corner from @Frame at 12.3s.”
“Use the same captions as @Episode 11.”
