Export a video from PandaStudio: quality, frame rate and loudness

PandaStudio exports an MP4 at 720p, 1080p or the source resolution up to 4K, at any standard frame rate from 23.976 to 60 fps, with the final mix evened out to the level YouTube and podcast apps play at.

The Export dialog sets the quality (Draft 720p, Standard 1080p, Highest at the source resolution up to 4K), the frame rate and the loudness. Auto frame rate exports at 30 fps, or at 60 when every clip is a 60 fps motion render. You can pick 30 or 60, Match source, or any other standard rate: 23.976, 24, 25 (PAL), 29.97, 50 and 59.94 (the extra rates need PandaStudio 2.1.47 or later). Loudness evens the voice, music and sound effects out to -14 LUFS for YouTube and social, or -16 LUFS for podcasts. The settings are saved with the project. A free trial exports at 720p; 1080p and Highest come with a license.

In the app

  1. 1Click Export in the top right of the editor.
  2. 2Pick the quality: Draft (720p), Standard (1080p) or Highest (source resolution).
  3. 3Open More options to set the frame rate (Auto, 30, 60, Match source, or another rate such as 25 fps) and the loudness.
  4. 4Click Start export. The file lands in your exports, ready to publish.

Ask the AI

Open the AI chat in the editor and say any of these. The agent does the edits for you.

“Export at 60 fps so the scrolling is smooth.”
“Export for a podcast at -16 LUFS.”
