Record a script your AI wrote, with the teleprompter

PandaStudio 2.1.47 and later can take a script from any AI connected to it and open the recorder with that script already in the teleprompter, in the shape you need (portrait for Shorts and Reels, landscape for YouTube).

When your AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Hermes, OpenClaw, or PandaStudio's own chat) writes a script for you to record, it can open PandaStudio's recorder with the script loaded: camera only, screen only, or screen with your camera, in portrait or landscape. For a camera take, the camera preview opens at the top of your screen, just under the webcam, and the script lies over its top edge, so you read while looking almost straight at the lens. For a screen take, the script sits in a strip at the top centre. The teleprompter scrolls when you press Record and can follow your voice; it never shows in the recording. Your camera and microphone only start when you press Record yourself. When you stop, the take opens in the editor, transcribed and ready for the AI to edit.

In the app

  1. 1Ask your AI to write the script, then to open the recorder (for example: open the PandaStudio recorder with this script, portrait).
  2. 2PandaStudio opens the recorder with the script in the teleprompter. For a camera take, the preview sits at the top of the screen with the script over it.
  3. 3Press Record in the bar at the bottom of the screen. The script scrolls as you talk; use the teleprompter's buttons to pause, change the speed or let it follow your voice.
  4. 4Stop when you're done. The take opens in the editor; tell your AI you've recorded it so it carries on with the edit.

Ask the AI

Open the AI chat in the editor and say any of these. The agent does the edits for you.

CLI & MCP

Every capability is a verb, reachable from the terminal or from an MCP agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Cline, Continue, Claude Desktop).
